The strong woody aroma of spruce, the most common tree species in South Tyrol, is obtained by putting the fresh spruce shoots in grain spirit.


Harvest: hand-picked at 1,700 meters in the deep coniferous forests of the valley in spring, as soon as life returns to the spruce forests and the fresh shoots grow

Taste: fragrant, mild, woody, sweet with slightly acidic notes
